Niantic Children’s Museum – free pirate hat making for children’s
NL Youth Affairs– will be passing out Pirate themed children’s books for free for children to take home.
Thames River Water Taxi Hop on Hop off will be offering a special discount for those dressed up as pirates for Pirate Fest:
Adults: $7.50 – 50% off regular fare of $15 if dressed as pirate
Children: Free (normally $7.50) if dressed as pirate
Discounted tickets available for purchase on the boat.
Flavours of Life, The Fair Trade Store – Treasure Chest Guess-Guess how many “Gold” coins in the pirate’s treasure chest and win a Flavours of Life Pirate Goodie Bag!
Thames river Gallery – Lighthouse Inn providing Lighthouse Inn famous lobster bisque and chicken satays and GALLERY GROG. Live music by Pfred Mileski. She is the wife of prominent New London artist Brad Guarino whose work is on display in the gallery. She is appearing from 7:00 – 9:00 and is a treat to be savored and worth waiting for until 7:00. She’s quite acclaimed as you can see what Rick Koster had to say about her.
A new artist STEVE CRYAN from Old Saybrook with select works of some very recognizable landmarks will be on display as well as Harry Thomas MSW author of “Peace By the Sea” will be signing his two books.
