Harvest Festival & Craft Fair

On Sunday, October 20th come to Strong Family Farm for its Annual Harvest Festival AND CRAFT FAIR, at 274 West Street, Vernon from 10:00 to 3:00 p.m. More than 45 juried crafters of all types, 5 food trucks, music, as well as lots of fun farm activities – including Aussakita Acres Farm barnyard animals to pet. There will be a special visit of our costume farm rooster, Clucky, and his farm friends Pat the Pig, Lucky the Horse, Buzzy the Bee and Bruce the Bull. The Scarecrow Contest winners will also be announced and this year there is a “Community Favorite” fundraiser to vote for the scarecrow of your choice. Children of all ages LOVE to be in the chicken parade sung to the farm’s chicken song. Admission is free. Parking in the farm field is $5, weather permitting, and at schools next door.
