Dive into Enchantment with live Mermaids at Mystic Aquarium!
When: January 23–25, January 30–February 1, February 6–February 8
Prepare to be spellbound as mesmerizing mermaids return to Mystic Aquarium! On select weekends this January and February, embark on an enchanting adventure as these aquatic wonders gracefully glide through our Caribbean Reef habitat, captivating hearts and sparking imaginations with their magical underwater performances.

Event Highlights:
- Witness awe-inspiring mermaids as they swim among the vibrant sea life in our reef habitat, included with your General Admission tickets.
- Capture a moment to cherish forever with an onsite meet-and-greet photo opportunity.
- Embrace the spirit of the sea by dressing as a mermaid, pirate, or any other ocean-themed character—let the magic flow!
Due to viewing demand, the line to view the diving mermaid will cut off at 3 pm each day. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Mermaids at Mystic is sponsored by Big Blue Bug Solutions.

Make your day even more magical with this exclusive experience! In this add-on adventure, you can journey into the realm of mermaids and:
- Meet with a mermaid one-on-one for a photo op
- Encounter marine animals in an exclusive touch habitat
- Get a mermaid-makeover with vibrantly colored hair extensions
- Create your own Ocean-in-a-Bottle craft
- Dig through a sandpit for gems and seashells, collecting them in your included mermaid purse or pirate pouch
- Take home a cuddly plushie of a penguin, beluga, sea turtle, shark, or octopus
